Arthur
Williams is Vice President and a principal owner of Byars &
Associates, Inc. His current responsibilities involve management
of the Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Insurance Operation,
as well as overseeing claims. In addition, he has served as
a Board of Director for the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents
Association and also as President of that organization. is currently
serving on the Education Committee for that organization.
He began his insurance career as a Claim Representative in
1970 with the AETNA Casualty & Surety Company handling Property
Casualty Claims after graduating from the University of Alabama.
In addition, he also worked in the Marketing and Underwriting
Department as an Outside Commercial Account Representative with
the AETNA Casualty & Surety Company. He has been in the
agency business since 1975.
Arthur holds the Associates in Claims designation (AIC) and
also holds the coveted Certified Insurance Counselors designation
known as CIC in the insurance industry. He has taught a variety
of seminars for the association in Alabama as well as the licensing
school.
Arthur has been married to his high school sweetheart, Kathy,
since 1970 and has two daughters. The oldest, Rachel, is Clinical
Director for Bradford Health Services. His youngest daughter,
Beth, is married and resides in Birmingham, Alabama. He is very
active in church work at Jasper's First Baptist Church doing
a variety of tasks. |
