Haig graduated from
the University of Alabama in 1982, and joined his father's independent
insurance agency in Jasper. He obtained his CIC designation
in 1991 and was selected Alabama's Young Agent of the Year in
1995.
Haig's primary focus is producing and servicing insurance accounts,
but he is also very involved in the community. Presently, Haig
serves as Chairman of the Walker County Literacy Council and
United Way's Local Advisory Council. He also serves on the following
boards: Literacy Council of Central Alabama; Alabama Tennis
Association; University of Alabama Commerce Society; Security
Federal Savings Bank; and the Industrial Development Board.of
Jasper.
Haig has four children and attends the First United Methodist
Church in Jasper.
